Internet giant Google acquired BumpTop, applications manager and creator of the desktop display. BumpTop admitted happy with this purchase and the states no longer provide a free version to download their application, starting next week. "BumpTop (for Windows and Mac) will not longer be available. We also do not plan to update our product," he submitted BumpTop in their pages, as quoted ReadWriteWeb. Google plans with the application itself is not known but may be related to the development of the operating system interface of their cell phones to compete with Apple. Wellington Financial estimates that Google issued a US4 35 to U.S. $ 40 million to acquire BumpTop. BumpTop founded by Anand Agarawala and continue to develop applications to create desktop display looks similar to a table by using three-dimensional technology, the pile of icons, and pin-ups. BumpTop is already available for computers with Windows operating system since last year and launched a new application for the Mac.
